Dogs have become more than just pets. For some of us have become our children. A great way to celebrate the love you have for your furry is to throw your dog a birthday party. Many dogs attend dog parks for socialization and exercise, a great way to get together to invite your friends to a party of dogs.
To prepare for the big day of your dog, you must make sure that you provide a secure area so the dogs to mix. A courtyard is the most popular, but many dog owners are beginning to use their local park because the dog is a known safe area. One benefit of using a dog park has rules in place that each owner must follow. To avoid conflict, these rules can be shipped with the invitation, sent to the party, or distributed to dog owners before the party begins. This will relieve any stress you have about the dogs of invitation, of which the owners do not know well.
A random dog's birthday party will allow the dogs chase tennis balls, chewing on rawhide and simply mixing with their dog friends. You can call your friends just send high or
and screw-meet at the dog park or your backyard. This type of birthday party would be appropriate to ensure tennis balls, or a certain kind of toys to keep your dog entertained. If you host this party at your house water bowls and tint adjustment should also be available. (The dog parks are usually equipped with water and shade) for party favors, dogs are welcome to their net slobbered tennis balls so love all day long!
If you want to go all out and have a great shot of your dog's birthday, the options are endless. Invitations, with notes and party favors are just the beginning. If you are going to plan and spend a lot of money in this very special occasion, invitations should be sent out three weeks in advance. This gives time for people to put the date and RSVP, so you can plan properly for the right amount of dogs.
The decorations and party supplies should not be dog theme ... if your little princess is a Chihuahua you may want the pink color obtained and jewels. If your laboratory is a warm guy, you may want to go fire hydrant and water. There is no end to your creativity, here are some more themes to the party we thought we were fun:
- Paw Prints
- Pirate Party
- Cowboy Western
- Floral with stripes
there should be a program for games, food and presents. There are still many games to play, but here are a few of our favorites:
- Hide Kong filled with treats and peanut butter ... the winner gets to keep the Kong.
- Obstacle Race: Set up the cones, the kiddy pool, tunnels, etc... Have dog owner's guide around the course. The dog with the best time is the winner. Gastronomic treats would be a great prize!
- Stuffed Kong: The fill Kings with three treats, the dog to empty their Kong in the first place is the winner. The dog gets to keep the Kong as their prize!
- Bone Hunt: Fill a container of sand, or the area in your yard, with sand. Hiding treats in the sand and have the dogs dig for their allegiance. Do the owners of their dogs and watch dogs with the most wins of the bones. A bone plush would be a great prize!
- Jumping Clothesline: Hang clotheslines in your yard. Put together the treats at different levels along the clothesline. The dog can jump higher for a treat is the winner! Gastronomic treats would be a great prize!
• - Hunting Kong: Fill a large peanut butter Kings and hide them in different parts of your yard. Send the dogs on a hunt Kong, the dog that sniffs out most is the winner of the Kings. Kong with the filling of peanut butter would be a great reward for this dog to take home.
Dogs love treats! The party favors should be distributed at the closing of the party, but while the dogs are still enjoying the party, the treats should be available to snack on. A cake or cupcakes for the birthday party of the dog would chase him feel special, as they should on this day.
Here are some ideas for party fun:
- Bandanas
- Frisbees
- Gourmet Treats
- Collar Charms
The birthday present opening should take place towards the end of the party when all the dogs are tired out from running around and playing games.
Make sure to thank all the owners of your dog with a party favor, as the dogs themselves.
Remember to have fun and relax, if you're having fun that your dog will have fun!
