Ingredients
4 eggs
180 g flour
70 g starch
160 g sugar
160 g of butter
3 tablespoons
aniseed liqueur
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 pinches of salt
50 g mixed candied fruit
Preparation
Whip the eggs with half the sugar.
Whip the butter with the remaining sugar, flavored with liquor, then add the two compounds.
Sift flour on the ground with baking powder and salt. Add the candied fruit. Pour the mixture into a greased and floured mold, level the surface and bake at 175 degrees for 50/55 minutes.
When the cake is cooked, the oven and the mold on wire rack to cool.
Procedure
• Brush the surface of the cake with warm apricot jelly.
• Colored a little dark yellow, knead to make smooth, and with a rolling pin, roll it out and covered the cake.
